Avalue Technology has officially introduced a new medical AI system portfolio built around two complementary platforms: the high-performance AI computing system MAB-T690 and the medical-grade edge AI Box PC MAB-T660D. The lineup targets real-world clinical adoption across surgical assistance, AI-powered medical imaging diagnostics and telemedicine, helping healthcare providers accelerate AI integration while improving efficiency and decision quality.
As AI advances across medical imaging analysis, surgical navigation and real-time patient monitoring, demand is rising for computing platforms that combine high performance, low latency and regulatory compliance. Avalue's approach pairs a back-end computing core with a front-end edge node so institutions can move from pilot AI projects to large-scale clinical deployment on a scalable, reliable foundation.
The MAB-T690 serves as the backend computing core, engineered for high-load scenarios. It supports NVIDIA RTX Pro 5000 series GPUs with dual-GPU expansion, distributing workloads across AI inference, image processing, 3D reconstruction and data computation to minimise resource contention. This capacity supports large-scale AI model training, multimodal medical data integration (imaging plus electronic health records) and high-resolution CT and MRI analysis, making it suited to hospital data centres, AI imaging platforms and research institutions.
The MAB-T660D is positioned as an edge AI computing platform for clinical environments. Equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 2000E Ada GPU, it performs on-site AI inference that reduces transmission latency and accelerates diagnostic workflows. A PCIe Gen4 x16 expansion slot lets the system integrate frame grabber cards and other medical devices, suiting it to operating rooms, consultation rooms and bedside use, with real-time image analysis and streaming, surgical assistance and multi-device data synchronisation while reducing reliance on cloud computing.
Both systems feature medical-grade electrical design and comply with the IEC/EN 60601-1 international medical safety standard, supporting safe, stable operation in high-sensitivity environments such as operating rooms and intensive care units.
The portfolio supports a wide range of high-value scenarios: real-time image analysis, surgical navigation and robotic-assisted computation in operating rooms; real-time inference and diagnostic assistance for high-resolution CT and MRI; stable data transmission and edge processing for telemedicine and imaging streaming; and real-time analysis with early-warning detection for critical care and bedside AI. By combining the front-end MAB-T660D with the back-end MAB-T690, providers can flexibly allocate computing resources across data acquisition, real-time inference and centralised high-performance computing.
