Software download
PM Designer is the free programming software for Cermate PanelMaster HMI panels. Both releases are available here: V4, the current version for present-day panels, and V2 for older models and legacy projects. These are the original installers, hosted by TSL Automation Solutions, who have supplied and supported Cermate HMIs in India since 2015.
Cermate has wound down and its website is currently unreachable, so the official download page is no longer accessible. We keep the original installers available here so existing Cermate HMI users can continue to maintain their panels. We also still supply Cermate hardware and can advise on replacements.
Fill in the form and we will email you the download links for both V4 and V2. We send them by email so we know the address is right and can follow up with compatibility or replacement advice for your panels.

PM Designer is the configuration and programming software for Cermate HMI panels, including the PanelMaster range. You use it to draw operator screens, define tags, set up communication with your PLC, write macros, and download the finished project to the panel over USB or Ethernet. It also supports offline and online simulation so you can test a screen before it goes near the machine.
Yes. Cermate distributed PM Designer as free software for use with their HMI panels, with no licence key or per-seat charge for the editor. We provide the original installers here at no cost so existing Cermate users can keep maintaining their panels.
Use V4 for current Cermate PanelMaster panels and any new project; it is the latest release and the one to start with. Use V2 only if your panel is an older model that V4 does not support, or if you are opening an existing project that was authored in V2. If you are unsure, send us your HMI model number and we will tell you which version to use.
V4 can generally import older PM Designer projects, but the conversion is one way and some legacy objects or macros may need checking after import. Always keep a backup copy of the original V2 project file before converting, and verify screens and PLC addressing after the upgrade. If a conversion gives you trouble, contact us with the project file details.

Yes. PanelMaster is the Cermate HMI product range, and PM Designer is the software used to program it. If you are looking for PanelMaster software, PM Designer is the correct download. The same tool is also used with several rebadged variants of Cermate hardware sold under other brand names.
PM Designer is a Windows desktop application and runs on Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11. Install it with administrator rights, and if an older version is already on the machine remove it first rather than installing over the top. A USB or Ethernet connection to the panel is needed to download projects.
